Lim Kim Yew (KY Lim) is a renowned Malaysian retail transformation strategist, entrepreneur, CEO coach, and business advisor with over 40 years of experience in retail operations, business strategy, organisational transformation, and leadership.
He co-founded Senheng Electric in 1989 and played a key role in transforming the company from a single half-shoplot business into one of Malaysia's largest consumer electronics retail chains. During his leadership, he spearheaded the implementation of an in-house ERP system, centralised supply chain management, nationwide outlet expansion, brand revitalisation, and the successful Senheng PlusOne membership programme.
Following his executive role at Senheng, KY continued to advise businesses on growth strategy and operational excellence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was appointed CEO of Petsmore, where he led the company's business transformation and organisational restructuring. He currently serves as a CEO Coach with Vistage, mentoring business owners and senior executives in leadership, strategic planning, business optimisation, and sustainable growth.
